Boston College accepted a commitment from a second tight end in the 2017 recruiting class on Aug. 13 as the Eagles continue to stockpile depth at the position.
Hunter Long, a 6-5, 235-pound product of Deerfield Academy in Massachusetts chose BC over UConn, UMass and a few other northeastern schools. He joins Patrick Brown of San Diego, Calif., to give BC two tight end signees for the second straight recruiting cycle. He’s also the second Massachusetts native to pick Boston College this class, along with center Alec Lindstrom of Dudley.
