Miami has long been one of the nation’s top producers of tight end talent, and if you consider the players who have come through ‘The U,’ it’s hard to consider it anything but the best. Players like Bubba Franks, Jeremy Shockey, Kellen Winslow, Greg Olsen, Jimmy Graham made it ‘Tight End U.’
David Njoku, a first-round pick of the Cleveland Browns, is more than worthy of that lineage. He’s no longer in college, but the Hurricanes have an excellent successor in senior Chris Herndon. If healthy, and he has been so far in his career, he should be one of the ACC’s best.
