There will be a lot of talk in the coming months about Miami’s defensive line, and rightfully so. Few programs have four NFL-caliber starters coming back as the Hurricanes do with Chad Thomas, Joe Jackson, Kendrick Norton and R.J. McIntosh. Even fewer have the kind of depth Miami will be able to roll out behind them.
But as good as Miami’s defensive front should be, it won’t be good for long unless the program keeps recruiting. Especially critical for the Canes: getting good defensive tackles.
