Down in Charlotte on Saturday, North Carolina and Mack Brown pulled off one of Week 1’s most notable upsets. The Tar Heels, behind freshman quarterback Sam Howell, rallied at Bank of America Stadium to defeat South Carolina, 24-20.
Three days after his first game back in the saddle at UNC, Brown joined The David Glenn Show to discuss his emotion’s after the win, his dance moves, Larry Fedora and what Miami brings to the table next Saturday.
Mack Brown on @TarHeelFootball seniors (not coaches) leading team onto field in CLT:
This is the seniors' last shot. The last two years, they haven't been to bowl games.
In a sense, it's not MY team. When the PLAYERS are leading the team, you have a better chance to be great.
