ESPN’s Jay Bilas on Duke’s freshman class: “It’s ridiculous how good these guys are”

The day after calling Duke’s 118-84 demolition of Kentucky to open the 2018-19 basketball season, ESPN college basketball analyst Jay Bilas joined The David Glenn Show.

Bilas and DG discussed Duke’s opening-night victory, the performances of Zion Williamson and R.J. Barrett, and how Duke’s veteran players can help balance this stacked freshman class and form a complete team.

“You have guys that are complementary players. What complementary means is: you complement your best player. So that doesn’t mean these guys can’t play; they’re good players, but they’re playing specific roles.”
