The postponement of the Sept. 19 Virginia-Virginia Tech game — due to COVID-19 concerns with the Hokies — will necessitate some other scheduling adjustments. At the time that this decision was made, the two programs didn’t have a simultaneous open Saturday until Dec. 12 — the date of the 2020 ACC Football Championship Game.
To help accommodate things, the Duke-Virginia game, which was set for Nov. 14, has been moved up to Sept. 26.

This will likely impact a variety of teams, too. For a brief window, it looked as though Virginia wouldn’t start its season until Oct. 3 against Clemson. However, the matchup with Duke will now proceed that.
More changes may need to take place, too.
So @AndyBitterVT and I been playing amateur schedule makers. Here’s how #Hokies can play #UVa on Nov. 7:
Move UVa-Duke to Sept. 26.
Move Louisville-UVa to Nov. 14.
Move VT-Liberty to Nov. 28.
