On Monday, Ellis met with UNC’s Roy Williams on Monday for an in-home visit. This comes on the heels of Ellis taking an official visit to Duke over this past weekend. The three other schools in the mix are San Diego State, Memphis and USC. 247 Sports ranks Ellis as the No. 25 overall prospect in the 2019 class.
Ellis is expected to announced his commitment on Friday, Nov. 9.
