Clemson-UNC postponed due to positive COVID-19 result within Clemson program

One day before Clemson was set to play in Chapel Hill vs. UNC, team activities were temporarily paused due to a positive COVID-19 result within the program — along with necessary quarantining and contact tracing.

In addition to the UNC matchup, Clemson was scheduled to play Syracuse next Tuesday; however, that game has been postponed, too.

Syracuse and North Carolina will now play in Chapel Hill on Tuesday night (Jan 12).

Clemson — led by Aamir Simms, ranked 19th in this week’s AP Poll — played against NC State on Tuesday (Jan. 5), an overtime win for the Tigers.
