Saturday’s marquee matchup between Clemson and NC State, the ACC’s two ranked teams, turned into a bit of a laugher. The Tigers won 41-7 in Death Valley, and moved up one spot in this week’s AP Top 25 rankings; NC State remained in the poll but fell back.
- No. 2 Clemson
- No. 22 NC State (back from No. 16)
Once again, Clemson and NC State are the only ACC teams that can claim top 25 status. Three other squads received votes, though.
- Miami (34)
- Virginia (25)
- Boston College (2)
