Tiger Style: Clemson, LSU make it official with home-and-home series in 2025, 2026

Two of college football’s powers will play one another in 2025 and 2026. It became official on Wednesday (Aug. 15) — Clemson and LSU have agreed to a home-and-home series. The 2025 game will take place at Clemson; a year later, the 2026 affair will be located in the bayou.

It may be a little hard to believe but this set of Tigers have rarely played. In fact, Clemson and LSU have faced one another just three times, total. LSU was victorious in the 1959 Sugar Bowl, and in the 1996 Peach Bowl.

The two squads played most recently in 2012 — when Tajh Boyd threw for 346 yards and Chandler Cantanzaro kicked a game-winning field goal for Clemson in the Peach Bowl. That game capped Dabo Swinney’s first 11-win season, and was his second bowl victory as the coach for the Tigers.
