Nicholls State announced Monday that it is hiring Clemson assistant Richie Riley as its next head coach. A formal press conference is set for Riley to be introduced on Tuesday.
Riley spent the last two seasons with the Tigers after joining Brad Brownell’s staff in 2014. His previous stops as an assistant include UAB (2012-14), Eastern Kentucky (2011-12) and Coastal Carolina (2009-11).
