Thin Miami roster includes numerous breakout candidates

No coach in America would take over a program and be publicly satisfied with what he finds. So as pleased as Mark Richt is for his late-career second act at his alma mater, he has expressed several issues with the Miami roster he inherited.

The main one is depth, so any discussion of potential breakout players for the Hurricanes will be a wide-ranging one. At multiple positions, former second- and third-stringers will need to play key roles if Miami is to compete for the ACC title in Year 1 of the Richt era.
