It’s been a tough start for Boston College this season, which has heated up Steve Addazio’s already-warm seat. After narrowly defeating Northern Illinois, 23-20, in the season opener, the Eagles were blown out by Wake Forest, 34-10, and Notre Dame, 49-20. Things won’t get any easier for the Eagles this weekend, as they travel to Death Valley to take on Clemson.
Addazio is 25-29 over his time in Chestnut Hill, with a dismal 10-22 record in ACC play over the last five seasons. Addazio’s ACC record is one of the biggest things working against him as new athletic director Martin Jarmond accesses the program.
