Boston College showed marked improvement in 2016, cooling off the Steve Addazio hot seat. The Eagles recovered from a 3-9 mark in 2015 to produce a 7-6 campaign capped off by a Quick Lane Bowl win over Maryland.
But with athletic director Brad Bates, the man who hired Addazio, resigning this summer, the fifth-year BC coach faces more pressure. That makes this year’s lineup of spring practices, which start Wednesday, critical for Addazio and the Eagles.
