September schedule working in Clemson’s favor

Following its lackluster 30-24 victory over Troy in its home opener in Death Valley, Clemson was penalized. That is, at least in the eyes of Tiger fans.

For its sluggish performance, voters dropped Clemson from No. 2 to No. 5 in the Associated Press poll.

Are the Tigers just sleepwalking through the early part of the schedule this year, or are there glaring issues at hand for Clemson that are going to be exposed when it has to play tougher opponents?
