The Eagles have struggled under Christian; in his first two seasons at the school, Boston College has gone 20-44, including an 0-18 campaign in the ACC last season. To be fair, though, Christian accepted a serious rebuilding assignment when he decided to come to BC.
The Heights, the independent student newspaper of Boston College, published a report this April that Christian made $1,140,225, including a base salary of $930,125, during the 2014-15 season — his first at the school.
Prior to accepting his post in Chestnut Hill, Christian was a head coach for several basketball programs: Kent State (2002-08), TCU (2008-12) and Ohio (2012-2014). He has won 262 career games.
