Washington is coached, of course, by Mike Hopkins, a former Syracuse point guard and assistant coach, who lands Stewart over his former mentor, Jim Boeheim.
Isaiah Stewart and Mike Hopkins have had a longstanding relationship. Probably since Isaiah was 14.
