14 more Clemson football players test positive for COVID-19

On Friday, Clemson football announced that 14 more players have tested positive for COVID-19. This announcement comes seven days after Clemson made public (6/19) that 23 players tested positive the previous week for coronavirus.

As Brett McMurphy notes, Clemson has completed 430 tests on both athletes and players, since returning to campus: 47 positive results.

Of that group of 47 positive tests, 37 are football players. Clemson announced two players tested positive the first week, back on June 9.

So far, there have been zero hospitalizations for any student-athlete or staff member at Clemson.
