Aden Holloway, a top-50 prospect in the 2023 recruiting class, is attracting serious buzz as a prospect. Recently, the 4-star point guard picked up an offer from Juwan Howard and Michigan — following his performance at the Geico Nationals.
Holloway hails from outside of Charlotte (NC); however, the 6-foot guard plays his prep ball for powerhouse La Porte (IN) La Lumiere School.
Several ACC programs have offered Holloway, too: Wake Forest, Notre Dame, Virginia Tech and Syracuse.
Holloway has already taken official visits to Wake Forest and Tennessee. As Holloway detailed to recruiting expert Jamie Shaw of On3, his visit to Winston-Salem went splendidly. Holloway enjoyed the atmosphere and thinks highly of Steve Forbes. Holloway’s visit took place last October.
Currently, Wake Forest has yet to land a commitment for the 2023 recruiting class. It’ll be important for Forbes to develop a prep pipeline to Winston-Salem. His program did great work in the transfer portal, but complete team building takes a holistic approach to recruiting. Holloway would be a key piece, in that regard.
It’ll also please Wake Forest fans to know that Holloway is a big fan of All-Star point guard Chris Paul, a Wake Forest and Winston-Salem legend. For whatever it’s worth, Holloway also please for Team CP3 in the EYBL.
