Georgia Tech announced Friday that senior wide receiver Darren Waller will sit out the first two games of the 2014 season for a violation of team rules. The Yellow Jackets’ season opener will be played on Aug. 30 against Wofford, and the team will travel to New Orleans to face Tulane the following week.
Waller started four games for the Jackets in 2013 and hauled in 17 receptions for 367 yards and three touchdowns. He is the second-leading receiver returning from last season.
