Three ACC schools in the top 5 for Georgia athlete

Class of 2016 athlete Korey Banks announced his five favorites on Tuesday, and a trio of ACC schools were included on the list. The Tyrone, Georgia, native shared via his personal Twitter account that, in no order, his top five consists of Arizona, Georgia Tech, North Carolina, Wake Forest and Wisconsin.

A 6-0, 170-pound prospect, Banks could play on either side of the ball at the college level. As a junior at Sandy Creek High School, he caught 34 passes for 542 yards and two touchdowns. He also returned punts and kicks.

Two current Yellow Jackets played their high school ball at Sandy Creek. Sophomore safety Corey Griffin and incoming freshman defensive lineman Trent Sellers are both products of the high school powerhouse.

Banks is a consensus 3-star recruit.
