Tech gains A-back commitment

With Georgia Tech holding summer camps this weekend, the Yellow Jackets will likely be adding commitments in the coming days, and the team’s 2015 recruiting class already grew this week with the addition of in-state pledge Omahri Jarrett. JacketsOnline.com first reported the news of Jarrett’s verbal.

The Douglasville, Ga., native currently plays at New Manchester HIgh School, roughly half an hour from Atlanta. At 5-10 and 168 pounds, Jarrett projects as an A-back for Tech. According to 247Sports.com, he also had offers from Appalachian State, Middle Tennessee State, Northern Illinois and Southern Miss.

Jarrett is the fourth player to commit to Paul Johnson’s 2015 class and the third from the state of Georgia.
