With an Orange Bowl crown, a Coastal Division title and a victory over the Georgia Bulldogs, the 2014 season was Georgia Tech’s most successful since the program’s last national championship in 1990. Coming off the 11-3 campaign, the Yellow Jackets turned the page this spring, looking to reload and possibly even repeat as division champs this fall.
Injuries left the offense short-handed at some positions before the final spring scrimmage on April 17, but a more experienced defense should lift some of the pressure off of Justin Thomas and Co. heading into Paul Johnson’s eighth season in Atlanta.
