Paul Johnson added another member to his 2014 class this week when former SMU signee Shaun Kagawa committed to Georgia Tech, according to multiple reports. A native of Hawaii, Kagawa asked for and received a release from his letter of intent with the Mustangs before giving his pledge to the Yellow Jackets.

At 5-10, 172 pounds, the defensive back prospect is the 21st recruit from his class to commit to Tech. According to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Kagawa spent part of last year at Army’s prep school before leaving.
