After spending the last two seasons as Georgia Tech’s special teams coordinator, Dave Walkosky is no longer on the Yellows Jackets staff. The news was first reported by CoachingSearch.com, and it is unclear why the change was made.
In 2013, Tech ranked No. 58 nationally in punt return average and No. 52 in kick returns. Both numbers were down from the previous season.
Before his two-year stint in Atlanta, Walksoky served as the linebackers coach for the CFL’s Calgary Stampeders. He also formerly held the role of head coach at Tiffin University from 2008-10.
