It may be early in the 2015-16 college basketball season, but Georgia Tech is already showing improvement in an area where it struggled throughout last year.
The Yellow Jackets ended up on the right side of a close outcome on Monday when they edged Tennessee for a 69-67 victory. The tight win was a positive development for Brian Gregory’s team, which lost 15 games last season by seven or fewer points.
Tech’s lack of scorers was a big reason why the team struggled to finish strong in contests last year. This season, however, a few new faces in the lineup have given the Jackets a boost. One newcomer in particular has been dominant in the post.
