Welcome to ACC Scoring List, our newest free feature on ACCSports.com.
We’ve taken the time to rank every player in ACC history based on career points, and we’ll update it after each game, to let you know where your favorite team’s current players stand, and who they’ve passed.
A few facts that may interest you:
There have been 2970 players in ACC history. 2822 of them have scored at least one point. That leaves 148 ACC players who got time on the floor but never recorded a point.
Combined, the nearly 3000 ACC players have recorded 1,219,343 points, or an average of about 410.6 per player.
And the totals are constantly increasing. Already this year, 88 ACC players have seen the floor for the first time (including everyone on Louisville’s roster), and the ACC has scored more than 9000 points.
With 83 points for Georgia Tech, Charles Mitchell already ranks higher on the Yellow Jackets’ school ACC scoring list (113th) place than he does on former school Maryland’s (120th), despite having scored 418 points for the Terps. He can credit the fact that Georgia Tech joined the league about 25 years later than Maryland for his rapid ascent.
