Seminoles look to Pennsylvania for 2016 TE solution

The decommitment of Buford, Georgia native Isaac Nauta from Florida State earlier this summer forced the Seminole coaches to reevaluate its options at the tight end position heading into football season.

Nauta, a 5-star prospect, visited Tallahassee for a camp in mid-July, only to take a whirlwind tour of campus visits over the next two weeks to Georgia, Texas, and LSU. On July 28, Nauta decommitted from the Seminoles.

Following the loss of Nauta, FSU looked to Pennsylvania to solve its tight end problem, as the Seminoles offered a scholarship to one top talent from the Keystone State, and reengaged its recruiting efforts with another. Both are widely considered among the top ten tight end prospects in America in the class of 2016.[hr]
