Report: FSU to extend Hamilton’s contract

Florida State will enter its Thursday night matchup at Duke on a four-game losing streak, and the Seminoles will need to win out in order to finish with a .500 record in the ACC. Regardless of how the season ends, however, Leonard Hamilton’s future with the program may not be jeopardy.

According to Jeff Cameron of 97.9 ESPN Radio in Tallahassee, Hamilton is expected to receive a contract extension this week. The head coach’s current deal runs through 2017.
