Florida State star running back Dalvin Cook is under investigation for battery against a woman, according to a report by Safid Deen of the Tallahassee Democrat.
The Democrat says a police report has been filed that details a woman suffering minor cuts and bruises after an altercation that took place outside a bar. Cook has not yet been charged with any crime.
The altercation occured on June 23 — one day before Florida State quarterback De’Andre Johnson punched a female student in the face. Johnson was dismissed by the university on July 6.
Cook earned second-team All-ACC honors as a true freshman last season, rushing for 1,008 yards and eight touchdowns. He’s considered one of the top players in the ACC for this coming season.
