Florida State 10 Top Targets

With 12 commitments on the board for Florida State in the 2016 class, and with the Seminoles not expected to take more than 20 recruits in this cycle, coach Jimbo Fisher and his staff are more than halfway done with this recruiting year. There are still several coveted prospects remaining, though, who could elevate Florida State’s class back into the top five of the national rankings.

The Seminoles already have commitments from a 5-star quarterback, a 4-star offensive lineman, a 5-star tight end and a 4-star wide receiver, so most of their focus lies on the defensive side of the ball. To stay nationally elite, the Seminoles need to land one of the best defensive classes in the country, as they missed on many of their top defensive targets in the 2015 class.

Florida State is in a good position to finish its class strongly. It’s among the leaders for many 5- and 4-star prospects, and the staff has clearly identified who it wants come Signing Day in February. Here’s a look at the Seminoles’ 10 Top Targets remaining in the class.
