Who Makes What? Coaching Salaries In the ACC

According to data published by USA Today, Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski makes nearly $9.7 million a year, which is nearly $4 million more than any other coach that made this year’s NCAA Tournament.

The newspaper claims that the entire amount is salary from the university, but other reports have had Krzyzewski’s salary at less than $5 million, with bonuses and other income lifting it.

Here’s a look at coaching salaries in the ACC, including departed coaches at Boston College, Wake Forest and Virginia Tech, as well as their replacements’ compensation at previous jobs.

Caution: Figures were complied from a variety of sources (all listed), so bonuses and supplemental income may not be handled the same for each coach.
