The chart shows just how dominant UNC alumni have been at the NBA level. The Tar Heels have produced more NBA points than the total any other two ACC schools, and more than the bottom seven schools combined.
Interestingly, the best NBA players are not necessarily the best postseason players. Only six of the 15 ACC schools have the same regular season and postseason NBA scoring leader, and only 27 of the 45 players in their school’s regular season top three are also in the school’s postseason top three. Only Miami, which has only had five players participate in the NBA postseason, has the exact same regular season and postseason top three.
