Since the ACC implemented its league championship game in 2005, either Georgia Tech or Virginia Tech has emerged as the Coastal Division champion in all but one year. As a result, it’s no surprise that the Yellow Jackets and Hokies were picked by the media in July to finish first and second, respectively, this fall.
The predicted Coastal champion fell short in each of the last three seasons, however, and it’s certainly not out of the question that another team could take home the division crown at year’s end.
Will Georgia Tech and Virginia Tech continue to dominate the Coastal, or will another program represent the division in December? Let us know what you think.
