The Blue Devils added yet another recruit to the class of 2016 on June 25, when 3-star athlete Jacob Morgenstern announced he’d be playing at Duke.
Morgenstern is a 6-4, 210-pounder who plays running back and linebacker at New Canaan, Connecticut’s St. Luke’s School, but Duke may choose to move him to safety, at one of the 4-2-5 defense’s hybrid positions.
Morgenstern also had offers from Boston College, Clemson, Pitt, Syracuse and Virginia in the ACC. He’s visited Duke twice in the last three months, including a week before he made the decision to commit.
