According to the Laurinburg Exchange, 2016 linebacker Jonathan Smith will announce his college decision on Friday. While several ACC schools have offered the Laurinburg, North Carolina, standout, Duke and North Carolina are considered the front-runners to land the consensus 3-star prospect.
As a junior in 2014, Smith tallied 156 tackles, including four sacks. He is rated the No. 30 senior in the state of North Carolina on the 247Sports Composite.
