Chidi Okonya, the 6-6.5, 230-pound defensive end will make his final decision this Friday. Two ACC schools are in the 3-star’s top five including Duke and Clemson. Tennessee, Ole Miss and Stanford complete the list.
Riverdale, Georgia native had a coach’s visit from the Blue Devils’ coach Derek Jones on May 6, exactly a year after Duke gave him an offer. Okonya’s latest visits were at Tennessee and Clemson. He made two unofficial visits to Tennessee in April, following an unofficial visit to Clemson in late March.
According to his personal Twitter account, Okonya will play in his high school spring game, followed by his decision.
Okonya also posted a picture on Twitter a list of his top five schools, with Duke coming in at the top of the list, followed by Clemson, Tennessee, Stanford and finishing with Ole Miss.
