Former Duke star Randy Denton made a Wednesday appearance on The David Glenn Show to talk about his upcoming induction into the North Carolina Sports Hall of Fame. Hailing from Raleigh, Denton played in both the ABA and the NBA following his college career.
During his time at Duke, Denton played for both Vic Bubas and Bucky Waters, but the former Blue Devil big man also described how impressed is with current coach Mike Krzyzewski. Denton said Krzyzewksi’s ability to mold players into a successful unit is what makes him stand out the most.
“I know last year was tough, but they’ll be back strong next year,” Denton said. “He has that ability to bring things together.”
Other topics discussed included the induction and how the game has evolved over the years. Click below to hear the full interview.
