After decades of Frank Beamer building the Virginia Tech football program into a national power, the Hokies have transitioned smoothly into the first two seasons of Justin Fuente: 19 wins, a Coastal Division title (2016) and an epic bowl victory over Arkansas.
Now, with Fuente entering his third season in Blacksburg, the Hokies will look to keep the proverbial ball rolling.
Fuente stopped by the David Glenn Show ACC media days in Charlotte; the two discussed the post-Beamer transition, Lane Stadium, branding in college football and how the game has changed his life.
