Here’s a look at the 2018 Battle 4 Atlantis, which takes place Nov. 21-23; the defending ACC champs, Virginia Basketball, will play Middle Tennessee in the opening round. The field for the event is excellent: Oklahoma, Florida, Wisconsin, Stanford, Butler and Dayton. These are fantastic basketball programs.

The Opponent
The Blue Raiders have won 25-plus games in three straight seasons, including NCAA Tournament bids in 2016 and 2017. In each of the last two seasons, Middle Tennessee has ranked inside the top 70 of both adjusted offensive and defensive efficiency, according to KenPom.
This will be one of the first games for Virginia basketball season the NCAA Tournament loss to 16-seed UMBC.
