UNC’s Justin McKoy in COVID protocol, out for Boston College

North Carolina basketball is set to play for the first time in nearly two weeks: Saturday (Jan. 2) at Boston College. However, UNC will be without forward Justin McKoy for the BC game. The 6-foot-8 junior is in the COVID-19 protocols.

McKoy is at the back end of North Carolina’s rotation; he’s played in 11 of 12 games this season. The Virginia transfer has scored 10 points in 67 minutes of action.

Earlier this week, North Carolina had a scheduled game vs. Virginia Tech postponed due to COVID-19 concerns within the Hokies program.
