With kickoff set for Jan. 2 (8 p.m.), North Carolina will play Texas A&M in the 2021 Orange Bowl. ESPN will televise the game.
This will be the 35th bowl appearance in program history for UNC football. However, this will also mark the first time North Carolina will participate in the Orange Bowl — down in Miami Gardens, Florida.
It’s also the first time UNC and Texas A&M have played against one another. The Aggies finished the season 5th in the College Football Playoff rankings.
