UNC football has found its non-conference opponent for the 2020 season: Western Carolina, according to head coach Mack Brown.
After the Sept. 19 matchup with Charlotte was canceled, the Tar Heels struggled to find a replacement team. However, North Carolina and Western Carolina are now set to play Friday, Dec. 11. That’s the final week of the regular season; the ACC title game is set for Dec. 19.
One caveat: if UNC needs to reschedule a conference game, the matchup with Western Carolina will be bumped, too.
