Georgia Tech head coach Josh Pastner informed the media that one member of his team’s travel party tested positive for COVID-19. That unnamed person is now in isolation and unavailable to participate in the NCAA Tournament this weekend.
According to Pastner the team is still eligible to play in the NCAA Tournament, though.
The Yellow Jackets, a 9 seed, open play against Loyola Chicago. The winner of that matchup will move on to (likely) face 1-seed Illinois.
