New AP Top 25; No Duke and UNC for the first time since 1982

A new AP Top 25 Poll is out, and this week’s edition comes with a little bit of history. For the first time since Dec. 1982, Duke and North Carolina land outside the poll at the same time. This also the first time since 1961 that Duke, UNC and Kentucky have all been outside to of the AP Top 25, together

In total, only three ACC teams ranked in this week’s poll:

    • No. 13 Virginia
    • No. 16 Virginia Tech
    • No. 20 Clemson

Louisville, Florida State and Duke all received votes, though.
