Almost simultaneously with the commitment of 4-star OLB RaRa Dillworth on Friday, 3-star offensive guard Jared Wilson pledged to UNC. Wilson, just like Dillworth, is an in-state commit in the 2021 recruiting class; both hail from the Piedmont Triad area, too.
The 6-foot-4, 325-pound Wilson plays his prep ball for West Forsyth High School in Clemmons, N.C. Wilson ranks as a top-20 guard nationally, per 247 Sports.
UNC now has the No. 2 recruiting class in the country, with 13 of 14 commits hailing from the state of North Carolina.
And another one at the same time.
Jared Wilson is the 11th player in the ESPN Jr. 300 to commit to North Carolina.
All 11 are from the state of North Carolina.
The Tar Heels have the No. 2-ranked class in the country behind Ohio State per 247 Sports.
