Will Duke own the 2017 NBA Draft?

DURHAM, N.C. — With Philadelphia winning the NBA draft lottery Tuesday night and projections immediately predicting the 76ers will select Brandon Ingram No. 1, Duke is set to have an underclassman picked in the top three for the third consecutive year.

Jabari Parker went to Milwaukee with the No. 2 overall pick in 2014 while Philadelphia grabbed Jahlil Okafor No. 3 overall last June.

Even as Duke’s star incoming freshmen are arriving on campus for summer school this week, that streak appears ready to extend to four years in a row in June 2017.
