There’s a surprise contender in the Coastal Division

As it turns out, the Justin Fuente rebuilding project in Blacksburg may not take so long after all.

For a Virginia Tech fanbase eager to get back to the top of the ACC, a series of key upcoming games will provide the opportunity for the Hokies to challenge for the mantle again.

Although the Hokies suffered a disappointing 45-24 loss to Tennessee on Sept. 10 at Bristol Motor Speedway, they got back on track (no pun intended) the following weekend with a dominating 49-0 blowout of Boston College in their ACC opener in Lane Stadium.
