14. Riley Leonard and Jordan Moore, Duke
As Duke finished out a difficult 2021 season, then-freshman Riley Leonard started to see some playing time at quarterback, mostly over the back half of the season. Overall, Leonard completed 37-of-62 passes (59.7%) for 381 yards, including six completions of 15+ yards; he also threw a touchdown and an interception.
Meanwhile, Jordan Moore, another freshman, completed 9-of-19 passes for 95 yards and a touchdown.
As the Mike Elko era starts in Durham, it’ll be key to see if one of these quarterbacks can outplay expectations.
