UNC landed a huge commitment on Monday as 4-star linebacker Payton Wilson picked the Tar Heels. With hats on the table representing Clemson, North Carolina, Ohio State and Virginia Tech, the Hillsborough, N.C., native chose the UNC hat.

Wilson’s addition gives the Tar Heels significant momentum heading into the critical late spring recruiting season. Why was his decision so important for Larry Fedora’s program?
